Description
Aprazole Plus-20 is a combination of omeprazole 20mg and sodium bicarbonate 1680mg supplied as a strawberry-mint flavoured powder for oral suspension. Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the production of stomach acid, while sodium bicarbonate helps neutralise acid and protects omeprazole from being broken down in the stomach.
It is used for acid-related conditions including heartburn, acid reflux, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), stomach and intestinal ulcers, and erosive oesophagitis. It may also be prescribed for other acid-related conditions depending on the patient's diagnosis.
