Description
Hydrocortisone Eye Drops contain hydrocortisone acetate 1% w/v, a corticosteroid used to reduce eye inflammation.
They may be prescribed for steroid-responsive inflammatory eye conditions causing redness, swelling and irritation.
They reduce inflammation but do not treat bacterial, viral or fungal eye infections unless specifically combined with appropriate anti-infective treatment.
