Description
Orbidex T Eye Drops are an ophthalmic combination of tobramycin 0.3% w/v (3 mg/mL) and dexamethasone 0.1% w/v (1 mg/mL).
Tobramycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that acts against susceptible bacteria, while dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that reduces ocular inflammation. The combination is used for steroid-responsive inflammatory eye conditions where bacterial infection is present or where there is a significant risk of bacterial infection.
It may therefore be prescribed for conditions such as bacterial conjunctivitis with inflammation, blepharitis and other bacterial eye infections associated with significant inflammation, depending on clinical assessmen
