Description
Ciproken is a ciprofloxacin 0.3% w/v eye and ear drop containing 3 mg of ciprofloxacin per mL.
For the eyes, Ciproken is indicated for bacterial infections such as bacterial conjunctivitis, corneal ulcers, keratitis, keratoconjunctivitis, blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis caused by susceptible organisms.
For the ear, it is indicated for infections including otitis externa, acute otitis media and chronic suppurative otitis media.
It is an antibiotic, so it is not appropriate for viral or fungal eye/ear infections.
