Description
Vithiol Syrup 125mL is an oral cough medicine combining carbocisteine, a mucolytic that reduces the thickness of mucus and helps clear it from the airways, with promethazine, a sedating antihistamine.
It is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of troublesome non-productive cough, particularly cough occurring at night. Vithiol also contains sucrose, which is relevant for people following a low-sugar diet or those with diabetes.
